Peggy and Jim Flannery
Touch of Class Duo
Peggy and Jim Flannery are two very dedicated and talented musicians. Both are originally from Ohio, Peggy’s from the Youngstown area and Jim is from Chillicothe. They met here in Southwest Florida in 1995 playing the same room. KAKI’s in North Naples! Peggy was with the local favorite Duo The Young and The Old of it, with the late Hal Greene.
They both are full time professional musicians and have made music their passion and lifelong career choice.
Peggy began playing organ at the age of 3 by ear. She moved to Naples Florida in 1985. She plays Keyboard, Piano, Hammond B3 Organ, Flute, and sings. She completed an album in Nashville working with some of the best record producers and studio musicians in the industry. Jim began playing music naturally by ear at a very young age of 3 also! He plays guitar and sings. He is also an accomplished keyboard player and plays many other instruments as well.
He has had many different bands and traveled the country playing music.
They have been performing together since 1997 when they married. They have played many country clubs and traveled the world with their talents performing on major cruiselines for Norwegian and Celebrity. Also they lived in Las Vegas where they performed in casinos, and high end restaurants/lounges.
The two of them actually play instruments. They do use tracks for backing to get a bigger sound, but much of their work is impromptu, spontaneous, and improvised. They are very versatile, playing many different styles of music from easy listening cocktail/dinner jazz standards, bossa nova, waltz, tango, cha cha, rhumba, polka, country, line dances, disco, freestyle, sing-a-long, rock and roll, top forty etc. They try to cover all age groups and music genres. They always have a great time and make sure their audience does the same.
